Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I hadnt thought about the effects of leaving him would have on me before i did. I only wanted away from the abuse. This week has been such a rollercoaster and it stinks! I miss my life but i know i had to do what i did.
I went to get some things last night and had to have civil stand by because he made a huge show for all of the neighbors, he was half drunk and probably high as usual. He was throwing my things on the dirty porch and wouldn't even hand me the key to my car only threw it at me. He even tried arguing with the officer! The officer saw how uncooperative he was and told me to definitely call them when i go for the rest of my things and took down both of our names.
It doesnt help that my ex husbands wife is friends with my abusers sister and is stirrin up trouble telling his sister that i have told things to my daughter that are untrue.
I just want this nightmare to end I've dealt with enough already!

Once you get all your stuff things should settle down. I'm so sorry you have to go through all this.
Definitely get the cops back when you get the rest of your stuff.

Stay safe and take good care of yourself. Do a bit of pampering - it won't make what he does any better, it doesn't make all the bad stuff go away, but it can dull the edge of the pain a little. And try to ignore the smear campaign.
I do hope it settles down soon.
