Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
So last week my plants were kicked over....
My front door was open when I got home....
and Saturday night two of my car tires were slashed in my driveway when I was sleeping
I cannot see my ex BF doing these things. He has a protective order and is petrified I will use it. He will lose his job.
What I can see however, is his daughter doing this.
Do these guys solicit others to do stuff like this? She has issues of her own. I've gone over this a million times in my head. I cannot think he is capable of this.
Who knows!

Or if you suspect her she may even be doing it of her own accord.
I'd get some video surveillance up if you can.

Yes, abusers deputize
others.
But, I believe that many of
us here will encourage you to
withhold your final judgement
about whether your ex could
or couldn't do these things.
I repeat what I said above,
that I hope you've reported
EVERYTHING to the police.
By the way. . . . what you
describe are NOT
"strange happenings."
They're standard stuff
in the wake of abusers.
Whether your ex did
the criminal acts or
he deputized someone
else to do his dirty work,
what you described is
almost expected. . . .
not at all strange.
I'm a couple of days away from signing. My adult sons came to stay here. Getting security cameras.
I know he's got someone trying intimidate me. I can't break. I have a lot on the line here.
Why is he trying to make me feel crazy
and when you feel crazy
it means he's won
the battle of control.
If it happens again I will know for sure who it is. Then the police get the video. Much more effective then guessing.
