Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
ok, so i go to AA... make no secret of it, in fact, i broadcast it(case in point). but yeah, at my meeting tonight, there was a fellow who ended up speaking for quite a while... on his STBX-wife... and it appears that when he was drinking, they were in a mutually emotionally and physically abusive relationship. alright, so he got sober and started working the program... and he stopped being abusive(i got htis out of him when i pulledh im aside and we talked)... and eventually, he also stopped being the victim too... well, she left after he started to finally hold his ground, but not be mean at the same time.
Now, he did have an advantage in that he is physically more capable than her..but he was deathly afraid, because he had just learned that she had acquired a 9mm handgun.
Alrighty... i just wanted to show that it does happen the other way around... and also... he said that if she did come after him, and she did end up killing him... that him truly being himself for the first time... it is worth it, and never will he compromise himself, and if the price of that is his life... then so be it. It is a price that he is willing to pay. Not necessarily that he wants to... but there it is.
Now here is the kicker. He said that even though he knows all this, and all the lies that she spread, and the danger that he was in from her... he still misses her.
Ladies... look at the insanity of that. guys too.

There isn't one of us here that doesn't understand him missing her. Sad as it is, is it an emotional state that has nothing to do with which half of the species you are, it's about how your head thinks and your heart feels.
