Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
at this exact second, I can't remember any..though I know that many, MANY stupid things were said to me...
I'll remember some at some point...
and another man, tells me, "go and get him out of jail and bring him home, and he can take care of you and your guys kids"
Like I really want him around my children!
One of my aunts said, "well stay married to him and when he gets out you can move the children in with grandma, and you guys can stay married"
Ok my question is why would I want to stay married to a man who is a known Sex offender, especially with children, and why would I want him around my children, and what makes them think I would let him live one day past the day he came back, there was murder on my mind from the moment I found out.
LMAO! Kind of makes you wonder what was going through these peoples mind at the moment. I was so amazed at these people, and so irritated at the same time. haha!
Also, everyone was saying I divorced him to take him for all his money. The reality was that I lost everything. He made really good money, I lost that income, my house, my vehicles, and most of my belongings. I was WAY far in debt because he put everything in my name, and I didn't even have enough money to file bankrupcy. I had to wait 7 years for all the bad debt to fall off my credit record, fight creditors, and fend off lawsuits. Here 10 years later I still have bill collectors calling.
Another comment... made by my evil sister... she said, well, IF he did cheat on you or abuse you it was only because you weren't having sex with him enough. He told me you made him go without sex for a month. (Not true, but even if it was, no excuse!)
" You knew what he was when you met him." (because he had a drink in his hand). A former friend.
"You do have other things to do, don't you?" Same former friend when I was talking with her after he had told me he "had things to do" rather than the plans we made, and telling her I was doubting him and things he said and did and questioning rather he was lying and cheating.
The lady I was staying with asked me why i didn't scream or holler for help.
I should have turned him in, and called the police but I didn't because I was drunk and didn't know if he would win the case or not. and he was married. haha. that was the reasoning I gave my self at the time.
But today I would turn him in and make him pay for what he did to me.
Each person goes through there own type of survival when going through an ordeal like that, and with me I went inside myself and then after I got the courage, I grabbed one of my college size books and hit him as hard as I could in the gut to get him off me.
It felt good to make him hurt. And he never bothered me after that. I still remember everything about that night. And sometimes I still can't drive past that place.
Just sharing
The second time I didn't tell anyone for years
'it must suit you or you would leave'
'have you ever thought it might be you? This is your 3rd time'
'are you sure you arent imagining it or over reacting?'
nice...
Thanks, Mum.
"he obviously wasn't right for you, but that doesn't mean he's not the perfect person for someone else."
ummmmmm... I'M PRETTY SURE THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT MEANS!!
