Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I was enjoying the thread about gaslighting, and felt the urge to search the web for more examples that were... Entertaining. For lack of a better word. I accidentally found myself at a site where psychopaths posted about themselves. I got sucked in for awhile. The posts are fascinating, some are creepy, some are scary, and others are almost humorous when you forget for a moment they could be honest. Whichever the case, they were insightful into the thought process of something I can't quite wrap my own head around.

The first post I found was from someone that doesn't consider herself a psychopath, and her post seems hardly different from something I'd expect to see here. But if you keep scrolling down, the responses she receives from those that identify themselves with the community are very different on many levels.

This next one made me feel a little awkward, reading how honestly this father speaks of his family in the first response, and how he claims he interacts with them.

IMHO, all that stuff they were saying, was just ridiculous. That crap about evolutionary psychology explaining the psychopath as having an evolutionary advantage is a perversion of evolutionary theory regarding sociopaths (which the website appears to use interchangeably with the word psychopaths). They think they're so smart but they are just twisting everything up. BS, BS, BS. *eyeroll*
IMHO I don't think, psychopaths, really have time to post online when they are out in the streets reeking havoc on their next victim.
