Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Today I talked to My YM. It was so helpful to get stuff off my chest. But that good feeling quickly went away once my parents got home. They started making fun of me asking why have you been so "depressed" (quotation marks for emphasis) lately? Huh? I told them I don't want to talk about it nor do I have to. They kept asking and kept on. They wouldn't stop. So I said it's mom not being sensitive to my feelings and calling me rude names. They stopped asking. Mom told me earlier that she was "so happy" for getting a phone call from Tim today. I also think I heard her and dad talking about me while cleaning up the kitchen. I heard her say "I'm this awful person and of course she's perfect". I wasn't eavesdropping just walking by.

Alazlam- I was trying to be assertive without making her mad. That's one thing I try to avoid doing. Make her mad by standing up to her.
