Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
On Friday morning, the police unlawfully entered my apartment by kicking open the door with guns drawn and no search warrant. One of the police officers shoved me out of my bedroom which caused me to go to the ER because I had a lot of pain in my right shoulder area. This illegal search had nothing to do with me and was supposedly based on an illegit story of looking for a wanted person. The police office who shoved me refused to give me a copy of the search warrant. Thankfully I was able to get a lot on video. I filed a report with internal affairs and contacted different law firms.
Now I am afraid to be in my apartment and I realize that filing a complaint put a bull's eye on my back. The problem is I don't have anywhere else to go.
