Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Didnt know where to go so I came here. So scared. On my room, holding the door shut. She says shes taking my puppy back to the humane society...and then shes threatening to kick me out of the house. All just because hes crying.

you're on a number of

Several of them suggest
that you may already be
getting medical treatment.
If you're not al ready, then
you really need to be.
So. . . . if you're already
seeing some kind of
doctor, that would be
the person to tell what's
happening at home.
That doctor is lawfully
obligated to get you
to some place safer
for you.
If you don't want to do
that, then go on-line
and find the number
for almost any kind
of social service agency
in your city.
By the way, I know it
may feel sad for you,
to send your puppy
back to the shelter,
but from what you're
telling us, it's a better
place for the helpless
puppy than living in
your house. Doesn't
sound like your house
is a safe place for You,
either.
Please tell someone
who can help protect
you, what's going on.
Puppies are pretty expensive and not as easy to raise as they seem.
Maybe your mom would be open to an older dog? 5-6 years old, and you'll know all of their good and bad habits, and they're 1000 times easier to take care of...
Do you work? Does the dog have a crate? A crate is the best thing I ever bought for my dog (gone now, but I had him 15 years). He virtually lived in it as a puppy, and later it became his bed...his "free zone", no one was allowed to bother him when he was in there.
