Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
My 10years relationship with my husband is maybe ending at last. I had couple of good boyfriends before he came to my life, but I loved his like no others. It was hell of ride indeed. Gambling problem, alcohol and drug abuse to financial problem and now emotional abuse. yelling and screaming is daily occurance at my household. And sometime escalate to him ripping his clothes or breaking stuffs (we really don't have money to buy new stuff, you know). I'm learning not to scream back just this past few days. He has been out of work for year or so. I have been working non stop for past 25years. Supposedly, he will be moving out as soon as he can make living by himself, because he does not find anything good about me. I just don't have heart to kick him out. We have 7years old son also. I feel very very sad. I just praying constantly that I will make it though however the outcome is and be good mother to my son. I just wanted someone to hear me out. Thank you for listening. I'm sending out hugs and warm thought to anyone struggling. We are all here for each other.
I sense you are an intelligent woman who loves her son. It is so unfair to kids to force them to watch their parents fight alot.

I am willing to bet that he may not be able to find a job and that financially he will continue to drag you down. Just consider seeking a way to get him out, especially if he is violent and yelling...
