Hi. I'd like to start using the journal option here, but need to know how to make it 110% private - just me. Does making that private mean that everything I do would no longer be shared? I don't want to lose the ability to get feedback and support from group members.

If you save the journal to "just me" then only you can see it. If you save it to "friends only" then only your friends can see it. The last option is that everyone can see it. I don't recommend that because it can end up being linked at the bottom of the home page for any group you belong to and I'm not sure, but maybe other groups as well.

If your profile is set to friends only then, according to DS, even if you save your journal to everyone, only your friends can see it.

Regardless of how privacy for your profile and/or journal are set, everyone can see everything you post in the group. Also know that whatever you say in hugs you leave for others is also as public as their individual profiles are.
