Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I am also sad for MJ, that he obviously was a sensitive child that was severely abused by his father. I found it interesting how MJ said they were not allowed to call him DAD, they had to call him Joe??
I feel JJ is a self-promoting, sadistic, classic abuser, whether MJ forgave him or not, he's an evil presence in this world that is leaving a sad and toxic legacy.
Like any other abuser, they need not apologize, it means nothing (they are typically not truly remorseful or sorry). And I personally do not believe in forgiving a crime in progress.
I know most of the things we hear from the media can't be trusted. But I don't think it's a coincidence at all that Joe was left NOTHING in Michael's will. And now supposedly Michael's ex-wife is going to fight for custody of the 2 oldest children. But she has made it clear that if she gains custody, she would get a restraining order against Joe Jackson.
The world has judged Michael Jackson by his very strange behaviors, but abuse survivors and victims should be able to understand how he became so messed up. It makes you wonder what kind of person Michael would have been if he hadn't grown up in an abusive home. He had such amazing talent, that cannot be denied. But he suffered emotionally for so many years, it's not surprising to hear he was medicating his pain (more emotional than physical, probably).
And you forgot to mention his racism that infected Michael and made him dye his skin and get so many nose jobs that finally, reputable surgeons refused to touch him. He had to wear that fake nose as the additional surgeries started a sink hole forming in the middle of his face.
He taught his son to hate his own black skin.
