Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

Yes.
An abuser is an abuser is an abuser.
Enslavement is abuse.
I lived with that one too. Even when my ex was working, he worked way less hours than I did (and earned less than half as much). So I suggested that he could take over ONE task, opening the mail and paying the bills. He turned that one into me demanding he do everything and be my slave just because I earn more money than he does. Mind you, he didn't do ANY cleaning (didn't even do so much as take his plate or cup to the kitchen when he was done with it), didn't drive so I had to take him everywhere he wanted to go, never did any laundry, because he didn't drive I had to do all the grocery shopping, etc etc etc. But to ask him to spend about 10 mins a week on opening mail and paying bills was over the top. He eventually did grudgingly take it on, assured me all the bills were up to date, and the next day I received a summons for unpaid property taxes. So he won, I took over THAT task again as well.
Then he quit his job when the baby was born, because he didn't like it. Did that mean he did more around the house? Noooooooo course not.
As Jillie said, it's enslavement. And how DARE he then criticise you for how you do everything for him. Stick to that date, do all that stuff just for yourself and let him work out how his shirts are gonna get to his closet, how his lettuce is going to get on his nachos, how his nachos are even going to get made or the ingredients bought.
tee hee sorry this just made me laugh. It's so true, but so ludicrous. xx
