Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I am proud of myself, I told him no he couldn't use my truck today and no he couldn't borrow $20.
I feel a little guilty and afraid about what is going to happen, but I have to set some boundaries.
I told him he knows I am right, and to be on my side when we are struggling instead of worrying about asking his mom for money whenever we struggle, its not fair to her, and its not fair to me.
But I sit here and worry if I should have just given him the money and let him use my truck. sounds idiotic, but I hate making him angry and upset.

You deserve to not to let anyone take advantage of you. You work hard for your money and you have the right to say no. Please do not feel guilty!!!
You are NOT MAKING him angry or upset. If he wants to react that was, it is all on him. His choice, not on you. It is YOUR truck and money. You need both for yourself and kids.
