Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
you're bonded to feel
like it's impossible to
ever have distance
from the attachment.
In fact, the reason that
that's true has roots in
our physical body, not
simply our emotions.
You say you're clear
about and you know
that not being with an
abusive partner would
be better for both you
and your children.
That's a good place
to start.
I urge you to make a
visit TODAY, to your
local women's resource
center. (If you can't find
where that is, P.M. me
where you live and I'll
try and help you find it.)
He has already injured
you physically. Imagine
him injuring one of your
children physically.
Even if he hasn't done
that and even if he
never actually does that,
it's totally certain that
living under the same
roof with this verbal and
physical abuser has
already damaged and
will inflict additional
and LIFELONG damage
on your children's sense
of safety, well-being and
life-style choices for as
long as they live, and
possibly even on to the
lives of THEIR children.
There's nothing wrong
with you. What you feel
is normal.
But there's something
very, very wrong within
the household in which
you're raising your children.
Please take a step in the
direction of a better life
for all of you.
Sending you hugs
and wishes for
safety and
healing.
