Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
sundays remind me of my drunken idiot dad making sure we both go to church....my evil drunken mom could stay home, except for holidays.
last night, when the gum around one of my bad teeth was bleeding a river, with my 19 year old cat also sick, i started thinking of the planet neptune----which is SEVENTEEN TIMES BIGGER THAN EARTH.
god and moses and jesus never mentioned the planet neptune---cause none of them knew it ever existed.
my drunken idiot dad had lots of time and money for church and charities----and zero of either for me, though by age 18 i was the only living relative on his parents' side.
be biking soon to walmart, on sunday, past whatever churches in town, which does make the long bike ride fun.
me, and my elderly cat, and another cat, alone on a planet 17 times the size of neptune....with bad emotional memories of sunday.

the mental health group in my hometown keeps on going more and more downhill, in order to maxamize profits....was back in 1990s that a good therapist with the program told me she and everyone else was gonna get fired, so cheaper people could be hired.
lots of hateful mentally ill people locally----which an allegedly worthless caseworker i had didn't want to hear.
What you experienced through church is not a reflection of the true nature of Jesus Christ. You experienced the hypocrites, the pretenders, the liars. Please don't confuse the two and put them together. One is real, one is phoney. Unfortunately your father is a phoney baloney christian. Jesus is the real deal. There are people out there that really try. Your father did not.
