Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Everything will be WAY better when he moves out of your house and you don't have to communicate with him anymore. Just hang on, it's almost here. After he is gone, for your own sanity BLOCK HIM!!!!

I should just add, that stuff he is looking up about dates and great conversations - to me, that's just creepy. If I found out a guy I was seeing was looking up all that stuff, I'd run for the hills, because to me it would say he's trying to be someone he's not, in order to "hook me in". Been there done that, got the scars to prove it. Only real people from now on, no adults who are still trying to learn the basics of acceptable human interaction.
When you are not confronted by all this on a daily basis, it will be easier. That said, it will still be an adjustment. As you say, you've been living your life the same way since you were 16, of course it's going to feel weird to live it differently. Until your "new normal" settles in. Which it won't until after he's gone.
Hmm.... so the grieving process is:
Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance
And we can bounce around them like a pinball. Do any of those seem like what you're going through?
