Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I don't know what you would call my abuse. I guess physical. To this day my abuse makes me feel disgusting.
When I was 2 years old my babysitter forced me to eat my own poop.
I know this sounds stupid but it makes me feel like a nasty person. Why would I have let her do that to me? Why didn't I just refuse? I can never take that back now. Who can say they have eatin there own poop? It's so gross. Makes me feel like such a nasty, disgusting person that no one would want to know. Ugh. After all of you read this you're probably going to think the same thing.

off the record, my god daughter used to eat cat poop and slugs when she was that age. She is 30 and a beautiful wife and mother and childrens xray professional now, used to work at Johns Hopkins University. toddlers are infants, uncorrupted treasures and innocent. Although I can understand feeling bad about yourself as I too have suffered with depression and poor self esteem, you are not disgusting and never have been. Hugs lady, Karen

She victimized you when
you were powerless.
Please look for a qualified
therapist and do the necessary
work to process this event.
You're entitled to a life
worth living.
You're NOT disgusting.
You're a flower on
the stem of the universe.
Healing can be yours.
I hope you'll pursue it.
I'd love to find that baby sitter and sit them down to a nice lunch of their own poop.
for the record, when I was a toddler, I went into my diaper at nap time, and spread my poop all over my crib and walls, and yes, I ate some.
toddlers explore the world with their mouths. my ex ate a june bug when he was a baby.
I've grown up to be a pretty cool person. I don't look back at all and feel disgusting about myself. I just laugh that I did that.
