Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

Find out if there is a domestic violence help center in your area. Most offer free counseling and assistance. They can help you come up with a plan to leave and help you find housing, and even set you up with a court advocate to help you in that fight, someone that is experienced with domestic abuse partners.
No matter how much you may want to believe it can get better, that someday he will realize his mistakes and change....he will not. Narcissists and/or sociopaths will never recognize this and will not change without extensive psychotherapy.
I am sorry you are going through this. I understand completely as I am going through the same thing. My biggest fear about leaving is how he will manipulate our child. But the negative, hostile environment I am putting my child in by staying is not healthy either.
I've rang him today to talk to our son, and he was basically calling me a vile, nasty piece of poo, I was like you wasn't say that Sunday to get into my pants, he then proceeded to make out I was a liar and that he'd never said that, so now if were together in the same room and it's just us I'm going to record what's being said.
Not going to lie to you babes, it's going to be a rough ride if he's anything like my ex, emotinal torture this last week has been for me. Thanks to him, his whole family think I'm crazy and are backing him up..
It's not going to get better, if anything it will get worse , you nend to get out while the children are still young otherwise they'll grow up believing his behaviour is normal. Don't hesitate to send me a message if you need to rant xx stay safe xx

Children who grow up
under the roof of abuse
are impacted negatively
through their entire lives.
Typically, girls end up
living with abusive partners
and boys become abusive
themselves. Sometimes,
it's the other way around
and sometimes they can
be both victims and abusers
at different times with
different people. The
bottom line is that their
lives are generally miserable
and the children they produce
continue on the path of
suffering, in which they
were raised.
Nothing about leaving is
a day at the beach. It's
hard, it sucks and it can
even be dangerous.
The alternative is that
you and your children
will endure increasing
abuse, through the years.
Also, typically, most
emotional abusers
ultimately become
physical, because
they learn, through
years of being
successfully abusive,
that they can push
any and every boundary
without consequences.
If you begin your journey
to freedom, do it as if you
are a prisoner of war in
a P.O.W. camp. You share
NOTHING. Any slip can
end your plan as well
as raise the risk you
live with daily. Also,
do not "push back"
or try to stand up
against the abuse.
This will be both
unsuccessful and
increase your risk.
Sending you hugs
and wishes for
clarity, safety
and healing.
