Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I would like to apologize for my negativity as of late. I suppose I am just feeling overwhelmed. Only a little over a month out of getting drawn back into an unhealthy relationship with my on -off ex of 4 years, facing work stress with possible layoff and insurance changes, having no insurance currently and going wo some meds my anxiety and migraines have been bad, financial strain with propane cost and unexpected other things...well its a struggle for a person who is alone. My pipes froze and I had let my younger brother borrow my ceramic heater so waiting on him to bring it down to try to thaw them.
Basically if I have been tense, these and upcoming triggers have overwhelmed me. If you notice though I still found gratitude for today. Thank you all for bearing with me.

Every time I come on this board, I see you making someone feel better, and people showing behaviour that tells me they love you. You are really, really popular here, and don't need to apologise for anything!

Until then, DO NOT apologize for needing support. It's what we're all here for. Both to seek support ourselves because we feel down or negative, and to give back to others.
You've been going through a tough time and it's completely reasonable to come here and vent and look for support, validation and compassion.

This is what this board is for. To help each other out. We are all struggling and some days are worse than others and it's an amazing comfort to be able to talk, vent, cry and even laugh with friends here.
