Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Also, you can set your facebook privacy settings so that he can't see anything about you. My ex tried about three times to become facebook friends with me after I left him. I just kept rejecting the requests.
And NO, you are NOT "sooo stupid." We all do things that we regret and in our cases, many of our decisions are made out of fear and anxiety. That is not stupidity.
I know - I started an emotional relationship with an old friend only a few weeks after I separated from my husband (and I'm a Mum to a small child)....in the end, my friend was getting pushy about wanting to move to a physical level that I wasn't comfortable with - so I told him to give me space - he still messaged me, but I ignored him. You know what - it's great to learn about me and be a good Mum. That is my suggestion.
Good luck with it :)
in some earlier post, and maybe you
took it. . . . . . but if you haven't. . . . .
please find yourself a counselor who
understands the long-term impact of abuse.
And as far as feeling stupid . . . . . part of
being human is making choices we later
regret. There isn't one of us out here who
hasn't trod that path.
Learning from the mistakes and making
different choices going forward will help
alleviate feeling badly about things you
regret.
Please connect with on-the-ground resources
that'll help you move forward.
