Isha, I agree with Calm. Drop any and all friend who want to futher your pain by "keeping you informed". You had a guy, that guy. He was not a man and never will be. He does not deserve you or you time. A real man would protect you and take care of you. Not be a sneeking little twit hiding behind a keyboard abusing you for his little fix. He is a teenie weenie person. He does not deserve the term man.

Sounds to me like you are most definitely better off without these people in your life. Amongst other things, I think abusers are users and opportunists. They often get off on bolstering their own ego at someone else's expense. Pretty sick, don't you think?

Of course he is blaming you and playing the victim, that's what they do best. My stbx was/is very much the same ... an expert at gaining undue sympathy and support. What an a**!

The sad part about all of this is that we get left to pick up the pieces. But, we do recover if we keep at it. It can be hard (as you already know), and it can take some time to reach a better place, but you will do it. Just keep going one day at a time and keep coming back to DS for information and support. I know how hard this is for you. I too, want to blast him, but it will not matter, does not matter, we do not matter. It is all about them and their fix. All about them and their world. We would like to think they cared, but reality is that they do not. The best thing we can do is move up and onward. On to better things. I am picking myself up and crawling out of the pit he made for us. I will leave him to waller in his filth.
