Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Of course, obviously, you know in your bones that you don't "deserve" the abuse you got.
No one does!
We are all, each of us ---- and that means YOU -----
ENTITLED
to a life of respect, peace, satisfaction and love.
Abusers can't love. They don't have the resources.
Abusers were either mentally ill or emotionally injured early in their lives.
If this weren't the case, then they would be healthy and healthy people don't abuse, don't hurt others.
So ---- abusers don't love.
When they claim to ---- they may actually think that that's what they're doing, but we know that's not true because in between telling us how much they love us, they're hurting us.
So ---- even if they believe they're loving us, that's not what's happening.
Love is a verb.
Love nurtures.
Love nourishes.
Love enriches.
Love giggles.
Love lavishes.
Love delights.
Love uplifts.
Love expands.
Love validates.
Love affirms.
Love makes new life.
Love makes life better.
So if what's happening to you is none of these things
then it's not love.
You're ENTITLED to live abuse-free and
you're ENTITLED to love.
We dont live together. THANK GOD!
((hugs))
regardless, i'm here if you ever need to talk.i'll pray for you.
much love
