Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

I drove 1,500 miles between Tuesday night and yesterday to bring my daughter home for the holiday. It was SO good to get a huge hug from her when I got to her dorm. She is busy cooking Thanksgiving dinner (she's a chef) and I'm in heaven :-)
