Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Have you considered a protective order? Not sure where you live but maybe that would help. You deserve to live without being harassed by him, regardless of whether you gave him another chance recently or not. (((((HUGS)))))))
Every call I take at work, I have to second guess myself. Could he be having someone call me? Counting down the hours.
I know his cell number, and his work phone to avoid those, but have no clue of his friends numbers.
Been in the bathroom already twice and only here for less than an hour.
The suggestion of a protection order is a possibility but honestly it's not like he is threatening me. He can't even leave voicemails due to the settings on my block. His texts are not threatening either and he has not tried to show up at my work or my house yet.
I would just think he would get tired of trying and get the hint.
You're not making anything worse by not taking his calls. It's probably impossible to predict for how long he'll continue to try to contact you, but I would still back you up that ignoring him to the extent you can is best for you. You are not doing anything wrong by ignoring him. This is HIS problem, being obsessed with harassing you. What would probably happen if you did answer? It wouldn't put a stop to the behavior, only reinforce next time that if he is persistent enough, you will give in eventually. keep on keeping on and stay safe! (((HUGS)))))
He has called work 6 times from his cell and his work phone. One time possibly from another number that he may have as I looked it up on free cell phone trace. It shows the same area as his cell phone and he does have two cell phones, which leads me to believe, 2 different numbers.
His area is out of range of my area and no reason for that number to be calling for anything we have here, due to gas prices to drive to my work to pick up what we sell.
Just guessing and the time was right before opening.
He called my cell 2 times from work and cell.
My sister in law has taken calls from me to help settle my nerves. When I go home, I plan to hide my vehicle as best I can and lock up tight. I would just stay gone, but I of course have a migraine and don't care to drive with it.
I read about obsessive disorders and I am a bit worried that he may be going through some obsessive disorder but it really doesn't fit as he has not worried about where I was for the last couple of weeks/weekends, so I really should not be his problem now. Also our "relationship" was not solid anyway and there was no intimacy what so ever. At best it was a strained friendship of an enabler trying to help an addict and once again losing the fight.
I just can't go down the road he is on. :(
