Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I love what you said, "To those still struggling with abuse, know this....there is life on the other side. And guess what, you get to be in control of it!"
It is so true. Not only do we regain control, but we also gain the opportunity to create our own happiness and live in peace!
You are amazing!!! You have come so far!!! I am so glad that you are happy!!! I think it is really important for the people who are still in an abusive relationship or some variation there of, to see that life can be better than anything you could imagine!

Go! Go Live YOUR Life! Take Care and God Bless (((( hugs)))))
A year after my divorce,
one night, after having
dinner with a good friend,
I was riding in my wonderful,
new car, when a great old song
came on the radio.
The title of that song
was: Wildfire.
The song is about
a woman and a horse
named Wildfire.
When the song had
finished playing, I
decided to call my car,
Wildfire. I felt like in my
new life, I was riding
the wind,
and could not only fly,
but soar.
I'm not going to claim
that every day after
I got out of that
abusive marriage
was perfect,
but
life free of abuse
is AMAZING.
GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have arrived on the other side. I am so very proud of you and so happy for you. You may have an off day once in awhile, but all in all you are doing so well.
Keep it up and take good care!!!!
(((((((((((HUGS)))))))))
I hope we all find enduring peace, love and joy.
