I am sure I have shared this before, but I am sharing again to hopefully lift some spirits today. I don't usually write poetry that is in a positive light but I did this one. I feel Love is not a concept that can be easily defined, and that it is truly different for everyone but I do so wish it for all of us on here. So here goes...Love and light everyone......

"True Love does not falter..
true love does not fail,
Thought sometimes it may stumble...
true love will always prevail.
Find it's way by Angel's flight...
through bitter tears and darkest night,
Hush the fear that haunts your heart..
bring you peace when your world is torn apart.
It will soothe your rage and deepest pain..
Shine like the sun through your world of pain,
Give you purpose and reason for living..
True love is not cruel and is always forgiving.
I do not dream of fortune and fame..
Just respect and honesty, no more games,
I do not dream of adoration or burning desire..
for that will become ashes from a once raging fire.
I just want to look in my lover's eyes..
and not see blame, regret or lies,
I just want the truest friend..
whose faith in me will never end.J.L.
