Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Finally stopped talking to my mother almost 2 months ago after she embarrassed me in front of my best friend, insisted I need assisted living, got upset because said best friend (who's also my neighbor) has a key to my apartment, and that I have home health aides and that my friend's mom helps out. (she's a retired nurse. my friend and i are both disabled and i've known her and her family since high school. Her mom specifically signed up with the agency my friend gets services through so my friend wouldn't have strangers coming in. SO SHE'S PAID TO HELP.)
Two days later, I processed my feelings through a poem and sent it to her. She immediately became verbally abusive. She said I "play the victim" and that she's "sick of trying so hard to have a relationship with me if all I'm going to do is throw things up in her face."
SHE REFUSES TO TALK! SHE JUST WANTS ME TO PRETEND I HAD A PERFECT CHILDHOOD. UGG!
She also told me to "do her a favor & forget she exists"
Two weeks later, she texts and offers to set me up on a blind date!
A few days after that, she texts and tells me that she wants "to talk and get everything out on the table."
I didn't respond to any of this.
Then she sent me a random facebook e-mail saying I should forgive & forget. That made me really mad. So I put videos of me singing the songs "Warrior" and "Whatever You Say" on my FB wall.
She tried to get to me by sharing the videos on my uncle's wall and making rude comments about my singing.
This is why I can no longer have a relationship with her. Because no matter what extent I expose myself to her, she is somehow ALWAYS abusive and I somehow ALWAYS come away hurt.

my therapist said she is the wrong person to share info with same with my dad. i dont have anybody else to share except for my bf old friends deserted me i dont wanna put all my feelings on him 24/7. she said there is no such thing as a mom/daughter relationship omg can u believe that?!? omg a whack job is a whack job doesn't get any better than that!
my parents, it is everybody else's fault but theirs. my sister doesnt even talk to her she dont exist to my mom never did but my brother exists. he dont even talk to her unless he wants to but i noticed he keeps the conversations very short on the phone....
Just because she's your "mother" doesn't mean you have to keep allowing her to be abusive to you...you can cut her off.
