As some of you know who have been following my story, I ended things with my ex about two and a half weeks ago. I keep coming on here and seeing other people talk about how their exes are constantly trying to be in contact with them and are trying to get them back, etc. I'm just over here feeling weird because my ex has done almost the complete opposite. Like he could give two shits about me and he isn't trying to talk to me or get me back. In fact, he completely leaves me alone. I don't know what I was wanting.....maybe him to at least try to get me back? Maybe to know that he actually cared about me? Going through all of this....I just feel used. I feel like he never really cared about me and was just using me. Now that I broke up with him....it's like I don't exist. I know I should be happy that I don't have to be fending off contact attempts....but it honestly just makes me feel sad. I feel like I wanted him to want me and now it is painfully obvious that he doesn't and I feel sad about that. Thanks for reading, I just needed to get it out.

You're not alone - my ex has never tried to win me back either, although he did turn threatening during our divorce.
I hope you know, at least on some level, that he is not a healthy person, and you can't base your self-esteem on the whims of a crazy person. Of course you want to be loved and wanted, that's human. But you can find normal people who will love you authentically and truly in the future.
I'm sorry it's making you feel bad :( You deserve better.
he doesnt matter, consider yourself lucky, half the battle is won, let him be, he's stewing in his own chaos, he'll surface they always do, and if they dont, congrats, you got off easy
