Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
"The Burning Bed" may be hard for a survivor to watch. It was for me, even though physical battery was not my primary experience. It was so real, so brutal. Farrah was so awesome. The parts of her inlaws were portrayed with such accuracy. And in the movie, the actress playing her mother tells her: You made your bed . . . . .
The script portrayed so accurately all the elements that made her character feel like there was no other way out.
Farrah was beautiful, talented and classy. And the end of her life shows us again that no amount of celebrity, no amount of money ----- none of that helps buy us more time.
Thoughts and prayers to all trying to survive dangerous circumstances, be they abusive relationships or terminal illness.

Another i really liked was "Life with Billy" VERY powerful, sad, but true story....
It was her one poignant role.
She also played a very poignant role in a movie called, "Dr. T. and the Woman," opposite Richard Gere and directed by Robert Altman.
Anyone interested in some of her work can find it at:

To allow her final struggles to be documented in all her vulnerabilites, getting sick, losing her hair and all --- in that last movie she did, which followed her through her illness ---- puts her in the category of WonderWoman, to me.
Funny thing is, my ex had the Farrah pinup (they all did) in his room as a teen...and I have very curly hair...and he used to say, "Why can't you make it like Farrah"? Along with "I wish you were taller" and "I love big breasts".
None of which I had. I'm a nice lady though. He never appreciated that. Not Farrah's fault!
Extremities

So
Farrah was not afraid of playing the bad girl. She was just very sad women in the movie. You almost fault sorry for her the killer. The only good thing about movie was that one of the children did survive the shooting. The movie was so well actted. you what to blame the man is loved for driving her insane.
