Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Had a family reunion today. Our last reunion was about 7 years ago, the last time I really saw this part of my family was at my sisters funeral 5 years ago. I wasn't looking forward to going, my h of course refused to go, and he started an argument when I got home tonight because I was there longer than he thinks I should have been.
The thing is, I'm so glad I went. I really miss my family so much. My grandfather is going to be 80 in December, I can't believe it! I want to spend more time with them.

I can relate about your husband. Even though my father was an N, mine could never understand how hard it was for me to have to deal with the wish that they could have been a good family to me. He constantly asked why I was so bothered about it. I snapped one day and told him, "You want to know why? Because I`m not heartless like you!"
