Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
A real friend is SUPPORTIVE.
"No matter what i say about it you're never gonna change,"
is NOT SUPPORTIVE.
That's ABUSIVE.
A friend may disagree, but doesn't make their friend
feel awful.
A friend is loving and supportive and caring.
"No matter what i say about it you're never gonna change,"
is NOT CARING.
It's cold, hard, MEAN and ABUSIVE (not the least of which
is that it's manipulative and arguably NOT TRUE).
jsasgall --- the person you've described is not a friend.
The person you've described is ABUSIVE.
Why do I say that?
Because someone who makes you feel horrible and
cuts off communication is not a friend, but an ABUSER.
Please consider putting some distance between you
and this wolf in sheep's clothing.
