My emotional abuse was a terrible terrible combination. My Ex had an emotional affair of varing degrees with at least 5 different women. These women were flaunted in front of me in an evil way, AND in correlation withese flaunts, and taunts, I was told that he will have women over to his place that are friends, that he will do what he wants to do, that I won't stop him from having the more-than life, that I needed more friends, more money, better clothes, to be less crazy, that I needed to compete with other women. The combo of telling me how great these women were while also telling me how bad I was was definitely emotional abuse. I've had no contact for 2 1/2 months now.... now that I can see how
this was emotional abuse, I'm staying away, even though he is a very
very attractive-looking man. I would love any thoughts or even encouragement on staying away. Love you all. Mil.

I really really think that I should stay away from him, because his

Sounds like emotional abuse for sure...how horrible. Good for you for maintaining no contact, it is the best way. You have already made the first giant step by leaving, now do all you can to stay gone. Hugs to you, hon.

Good for you for maintaining no contact, its the only way to get past his horrible abuse. This is mental torture, putting these others on a pedestal and at same time belittling you, Mental cruelty. These women know full well what they're playing up to aswell. Mine had ex-wife who tried to maintain friendship trying to do my head in once even telling me he would always be her best friend, my answer "why did you leave him then" she soon clammed up, at same time he'd get her to deliberately ring him while i was around, he'd ring her phone put it down so she'd ring him back, the reason i know this is i'd look at calls in his phone, when i confronted him his face went bright red he knew his game had been foiled. No doubt your ex done similiar deliberately setting you and these other women against each other.

I don't care how good a man may look!! He has no right to abuse and mistreat another human being!! You deserve better and all the other women he is dealing with seems to be just like him,sick! Take pride in yourself and pray to God you make it for another year without any dealings with him!!
