Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

Awhile back, a fabulous Connecticut singer/song-writer and friend, interviewed me about HEAL and the other work I do, for her blog (htpp://purplesongproject.blogspot.com). (It's a GREAT blog. Check it out!)
It took awhile for the interview to get assembled and published, and then it took awhile for me to get it posted here, on the Howl.
I met Vanessa around seven years ago (time flies!). She's a wonderful artist and a passionate activist. She's been a co-worker of mine and, I'm happy to say, continues to stay connected with me as a friend.
I want to let everyone know what amazing work she does, and also share her support of HEAL and the work that I do.

Blackdog999 I'm vonniedisley and I live in in Europe..and I can possibly help if you want to get in touch I'll do my best?..
You're so right..The US are way ahead of us....I spoke to a domestic abuse counsellor here the other day who told me that she went to see how it goes in Boston Us..and she told me that they have people to mind your children when you are in court over domestic violence?....here in Ireland we have nothing like that..and the judges are also very ignorant about it..and sadly also very unsympathtic.
