Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

I also wanted to share with the group that some self-education on Youtube also helped me get through some of the darker periods. You have to take everything on the internet with a grain of salt of course, and also I found I had to be careful about spending too much time on the internet because it could contribute to my over-analyzing. really really helped me understand what I was going through.
I'm listening to the link you provided right now. Even tho I just started, it sounds very informative so far in terms of defining & explaining abuse.
