Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Been having a lot of dreams lately, most have been really good, last nights not so much.
I dreamt that I finally had gotten up the courage to leave him and he wasn't even fighting me about it, it was going great until I turned to my son, who is standing by the door crying, asking why we can't live with daddy anymore?
I woke up wide awake and could not get back to sleep without leaving our bedroom. This is the hardest thing I know I will ever have to deal with, I just wish there wasn't so much guilt involved. I cherish my son and for that will never regret my marriage but if I didn't have him I know I would have left years ago.
I just don't know if my time will ever come to leave this marriage, I sincerely hope it does. Just had to tell someone and you guys, I know totally understand where I'm coming from.

Maybe he had a feeling that you might leave so he cleaned up his act till he sucked you back in. Please don't give up on leaving. It is so worth it for you and your son. So much better for you and him without living with abuse. What kind of a roll model is he for your son. Is your son going to grow up like him and treat his wife the way you are being treated. Please think of a women's shelter. I KNOW it will be hard at first, but you deserve the happy ending.

Now though he is basically back to his old self, everything his way, he's very selfish. Doesn't consider anyone else but him self and I'm tired of living this way and putting my son through this crap, he doesn't deserve it nor do I. And yet I know this and yet I stay, this for sure is a long damn road, hope it ends soon!
