Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

You're a very articulate
and thoughtful young
woman.
I agree with Redflamingo
that it would be a good
thing to go talk to your
school counselor or
school nurse, or any
other adult whom you
truly trust.
Answering your question. . .
based on some of what
you've shared. . . . . yes. . . .
your mother is verbally
and emotionally abusing
you in a variety of ways.
Don't run away.
First try to find someone
to help you sort through
the basic issues. If that
can't be done over the
next year or two, then
you'll be 18 and can
legally find yourself
another place to live.
Please reach out to
someone at your
school or a relative
whom you trust,
(or your doctor).
No one is all good
or all bad. Your
mother provides you
with some kinds of
care, but falls very
short in other ways.
Someone in your
community may be
able to help her
learn how to do
better in the places
where she falls so
short.
Sending you hugs
and wishes for you
well-being.
