Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I almost bought a business today... Something I would have never thought of doing just weeks ago out of fear that my ex would disapprove. He would always pretend to support me, and then undermine my ideas. I have had my own business since I was 21, and he has no business experience at all. Somehow, he undermined my confidence in my own abilities. Today shows that he hasn't killed my spirit, and that somewhere underneath it all, a piece of me remains untouched.
It is a good feeling, and I just had to share with people who have been there and done that!
