Yeah, my husband will feel people out first. You can literally see him watching people, their expression and demeanor~ just like a dog sniffing out fear. Once he sees someone accept abuse from others or gets a sense of weakness, he will be all over them too, just to feel superior, especially with men weaker than he {that's like ice cream to a kid for him}. I've noticed that he has VERY few male friends ~ actually NONE ever call the house for him {he doesn't have homeboys or dawgs}, and I think it's b/c there are very few men out there that will put up with his controlling/superior spirit, so he feels inferior to him. But with women, he's always prince charming, always has that cute smile, but as soon as he gets wind that she's not weak,he moves on to the next woman, leeching and getting whatever he can get from her while still abusing her slightly whenever he feels like it. I've seen him in the company of several women throughtout the years and has NEVER, EVER once considered abusing them, and I believe it is b/c she won't stand for it, or she has a non-abusing man in her life that will beat the hell out of him for disrespecting his queen.

My ex is very good at that....I call him a narcissitic sociopath...If you google it you w ill probably get the wikipedia definition....They form friendships easily but can't make them last...

But...it's all abuse. I think the more they get away with it at home, the more habitual it becomes.
