Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Also, I think that it would be a good thing to bring out abuse among teenagers. I think everyone should be educated on abuse.
Also how to set healthy boundaries.
Others? YOUR thoughts?
I would like to see one on Parenting your child without abuse/abusive signals/abuse speak.
Thank you.
I'd also like to see something on how we can learn to validate ourselves, as I think this is something many abuse victims battle with.
theres a website : http://theantitwilightmovement.webs.com/about.htm
that talks more about it.
I just visited the above site, and in fact ----- there was a reference
to the abusive nature of the relationship in Twilight just this morning
in a feature on one of the network early shows. Wow. That's really
interesting stuff. Of course I've been aware of the popularity of the
Twilight book(s?) and movies, but I haven't read or seen any of them.
Even before I visited the site, I knew that what you observed
had a high probability of being the case. Thank you for raising
my awareness on this topic.
Again, thanks to all who've responded. If you haven't yet,
please let me know the question or topic that you'd personally
love to see spotlit on a video. Initially my show will be aired
locally. Once recorded, I'll be uploading it onto my site and
also YouTube. (There are a half-dozen on the HEAL site
now, and three on YouTube. To find them on YouTube,
search: Ilene Wolf HEAL.)
Much love to all.

I wish you luck with your new project...I know whatever you do it will be wonderful. ;-)
I agree that your ideas work out well because you have a lot of great insights. My only suggestion is that you talk about how sexual abuse effects the abused, so that people know how us survivors are effected by the abuse-( i have heard of stories where people "laugh off"stories of sexual abuse or people say the victim "asked for it"). Good luck with this.

Wow, IhMan ----- that's so awful.
I have copied and filed all your responses
