I missed that verdict, although I have watched this guy for years in the press. Hopefully he will come clean about his last wife's whereabouts now and their kids and her family will find some peace. And I also hope that justice is served in prison (after all he is an ex cop, and you know how those prisoners like ex cops...)

I was so happy to see the verdict read, but sad that it took the fourth wife's disappearance before anyone saw what an evil individual he was. I was trying to find yesterday links to the original story because I thought I remembered that the second wife died under mysterious circumstances also. Am I imagining that?

The cause of death was ruled accident - drowning. The body was exhumed and the cause was changed to homicide.

There is some poetic justice in the knowledge that Drew Peterson will be an ex-cop in a prison. He will get what he deserves.
