Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Of course the victim is to blame. They didn't walk in a straight enough line, they disagreed with their abuser, they weren't happy when they discovered he'd been lying, they took too much of the covers on the bed, they talked to loud, they didn't talk loud enough......
Gosh, I am SO GLAD to be FREE.......
So, what do I think of guys that say "she" caused the emotional abuse? Hmmm... How to say this..... #1 They are not in control of themselves in any way (All I have to do is push this little button to make you "Freak" out?). #2 They are totally immature. #3 They do not know how to take responsibility for anything. #4 They hate themselves and are projecting that onto the person that they feel they can dominate. (What would it take to get them to respond that way in any other situation - like to their boss?)
I could go on, but I won't. I think that these "guys" are lower than shit. They need counseling, which, usually they won't go to, because they would rather have an evisceration than examine the messed up crap in their psyches.
"It wasn't my fault! She made/makes me do it!" Sound like any 3 year olds you know???? That's where their emotional age is frozen. And, they like it that way.
My ex did this to me. Near the end, I turned the tables on him and he didn't like it very much. Awww poor baby.
