Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I have a question.
I live with my mom to get away from my abusive ex....and my step dad, is well, very rude to me and mean. I don't know if hes considered abusive....but he yells at me and says smart remarks to me.... and he once said that i didnt want my son because i have a hard time taking care of him sense i have PTSD and have horrible time adjusting my mood from it.
I am scared of him when he gets mad.. he gets mad....hes never hit me,but i just can not be around he makes me so angry inside.... Him yelling at me and stuff triggers my PTSD would he be considered abusive....also hes very rude to my mom and she puts up with him. I cant stand it, and i cant just leave because i dont have anywhere else to go,......he yells at me in front of my one year old too.
Anyone have any ideas on what i can do?

If you have to be there, try to be around
him as little as possible and try to find
somewhere else as soon as possible.
Being there is not good for either
you or your child.

It will be impossible for you to stand up to it now. Hanging around and him doing this will set you back and damage you further.
I'm so sorry this asshole is picking on you and using your abuse, PTSD against you and your child..
You will be able to go to a Domestic Violence centre for advice...they will have free counselling or just give you somewhere safe to be and practical advice.
You were in a DV situ and you are again with your mothers partner.
You need to find a way out. I know it will seem impossible but go to speak to a DV person and get some advice.
You will get sicker and sicker and not be able to be the mother you are if he keeps doing this to you. Then you prove him right!!..
Can you find a Dv place or some such other womans service to go to for support/advice?.

Yes. What he's doing is abusive hun. All of it.
