Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
And good for you for not responding. If he keeps this up, I believe you will eventually get to a point that his contact actually disgusts you (at least I hope that happens).
I know its hard, but you would be even better off if you didn't read any of the texts. But you'll get there.
So happy for you that you are feeling better!!!
Time is a great healer may sound like an awful cliche, but it is true. Along with caring for yourself and keeping busy!
Big hugs and good thoughts xx
Good for you, for not responding to him. He's not worth it. He taunted you with lies about seeing your friend, when he knew perfectly well that you were in pain, and now he's trying to take advantage of you.
It took a lot of strength for you to come through that long, dark night. Just keep taking care of yourself and you should keep getting stronger. You just need time to heal.

I agree with Itwist, you should do something to celebrate.
Take good care of yourself.

You can experience ups and unfortunately the downs come too. I think sometimes the downs are harder after we have a few minutes of being ok..... but remember that you can keep get back up again.....

If he does that il be out of work and i rely on it obviously for my income. Can he do that ?
Before i met him i had been on my own for 10 years, i was a single parent and i had a job that i worked in for 9 years.
He was the one that pushed me into opening this business and Quiting my other job.
I know most of you live in a different state to me , so i dont know if the same thing apply when it comes to things like this.
He is making it sound like ive taken all his help and he is the injured party.
I still live in a rented house that i have had for over 10 yrs.
when we married he moved in with me.
He has a property that he then rented out ( to my daughter at the time, the one he was seeing behind my back).
He now lives there himself and she has moved out as you know..
I told him leave my business alone and i will leave his property alone. not that i want his property because i dont.
I just want to keep my business. why should he have it all. He is the one that betrayed me. I do wish i had kept my other job and not get pushed into the business as he holds me to ransom over it all the time. I have built this business myself on my own. He has a job "
About the machinery, I am not sure legally... is there any proof that he bought them? Because if there is, destroy it just to be safe. If there is not, then he is just being selfish and obnoxious to scare you because you are not responding to his tactics.
Either way, his behaviour is despicable. You are right: YOU put the heart and soul into that business, not him. Why should he get any benefit out of it, or take anything back?
You are in the UK like me, right? Maybe you could consult Citizens' Advice about this? They would tell you the law. Just be sure to mention that he is NOT a partner in the business, and that you need answers to be safe because you have left him due to his abuse of you. Don't be afraid to tell them the details; I think you will get a private appointment with them, in which to discuss your query.
Just google Citizens Advice Bureau and the website should tell you how to get an appointment. Good luck! xx
Thing is I'm not making mega bucks. It's only a small business and its just enough money to cover what needs to be paid. He would be spiteful enough to try get everything
