Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Hi Everyone! It has been a little while. Hope everyone is good. Took the kids to North Carolina for a week with my family and had a great time!
My divorce was finalized by the judge on 7/25/13 and my ex is still living in my house. He closes on his 8/26/13, I CAN NOT WAIT!
Things have been fairly quiet considering what it was before. He started packing only a few things which I am very surprised at. I am irritated but won't tell him because in the end it doesn't matter. While packing he took everything "his" family ever gave "us". It irritates me because it was meant for both of us so I naturally would think it would be a discussion of compromise on who gets/wants what. I guess that is where I always go wrong I guess, "thinking logically" when it comes to him.
He still has his "unforgettable" girlfriend, yet still searching for others on all the online dating sites. It is really sick actually. Very sick considering he is on every dating site out there, has been for months (at least months, maybe longer), dating his girlfriend and still trying to be "lovy dovey/feely grabby" to me & asking me for sex. It makes my stomach turn.
My brother came to me this weekend and said that I really needed to give my ex a break because he is really trying to be nice and I am not. I told my brother (very nicely) that he doesn't know everything and I am not one to go around running my mouth but if he is going ot accuse me of being mean, I wanted him to know why. I told him what my ex is doing and how just on Friday he (my ex) put his hands all over me and Saturday asked me to have sex with him. My brothers eyes got really big and said "OH, I didn't know". I said "YEAH, of course not because he wants to play mister innocent, oh wows me, feel bad for me, blah blah blah!"
So as you can see, all is great! LOL. Just taking it day by day. Take care everyone! =)

One thing that struck me and I know you've got it is the fact that you can see clearly that logic and him don't mix and never will.
As annoying as it is let him take what he is packing and don't say a word! You'll get far more than these things are worth and that's your freedom and abuse free life! You'll be able to collect sentimental things in the future that won't remind you of him anyway!
Be sure to post when he's gone and fill us in on how things are going for you! Don't rise to his games in the mean time and what ever he is doing regarding dating his girlfriend and the dating sites just laugh at his pathetic insecurities (he can't survive without someone) because you'll be great in your own company! It's wonderful trust me :-D
As for what he's doing with the gf and the dating sites and still sexually harassing/abusing/assaulting you - well the upside of that is you know it wasn't you. He is giving you absolute proof that it was no failing of yours that led to this situation. He has an "unforgettable" gf, and he's doing all he can to cheat on her already. Yup, he's a prize alright.
Keep on keeping on. And I wanna second that huge high 10, and give you a giant pat on the back and a great big smiley hug. You have come so far and you well deserve to be very proud of yourself.
