So, I knew if I didn't tell him that I was off work today there would be hell to pay. Even though we haven't really been speaking since the incident on Sunday night, I went into the bedroom when he finally got home last night and tried to talk to him. He refused to acknowledge that I was there; simply laid on the bed (taking up the whole bed so I had to sit on the floor), playing on his laptop. I was trying to explain to him about the text messages and the meeting with the owner today, all while really talking to a nonexistent entity (as he was paying me no attention AT ALL) when he suddenly looked up angrily, cuts me off, and says "What are you fixing me for dinner? Don't you think you should get on that, I have to work tomorrow!?"

I obediently get up and leave the room to get his food (which actually was a good thing because it was about at the burning point--never a good scenario in my house). I fix it and take it back to him and leave the room. I give up on having a conversation at this point and take a shower.

This morning, I call him to tell him I am home and he acts as if he knows nothing about what I am talking about (which obviously he really didn't as he wasn't listening). When I get to the part about being off today so things can be "looked into" he starts yelling that this is just f ing great, now I am not going to have a job. Why didn't I tell him any of this last night?! WTF!!!!!! 1) I absolutely tried to talk to him last night and got blown off as usual; 2) I never once said I had lost my job or even that I was going to lose my job; and 3) are you freaking kidding me? No compassion for this situation (which I'm sure I somehow caused anyway), no concern for me or my feelings, just concern that I hadn't told him and that he may not have my income coming in any longer.

What an ass! Just had to vent. Sorry guys for taking up so much time today on this forum, but thanks so much for "listening" to the rants of a nearly crazy person:-)
