LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police arrested a man on charges of domestic violence and wanton endangerment.
According to a police report, at 1 a.m. Tuesday Marcus McGinnis, 22, was involved in a verbal altercation with a woman when he became violent and grabbed the woman in a bear hug while biting her on the chin.
McGinnis pinned her against a wall and started choking her with both hands before throwing her to the ground and kicking her repeatedly. He then proceeded to beat the woman with a vacuum cleaner.
Police said McGinnis made several threatening statements toward the victim while in custody. The officer dispatched to the scene was concerned for her safety.

According to the police report, the victim had a bleeding bite mark on her chin, several bruised areas and a raised bite mark with broken skin on her left shoulder. The victim complained of pain in her ribs and shoulder.
