So a good friend kind of gave me a reality check today...

He doesn't care, he won't change, he won't EVER admit it was his fault, he won't apologize and face it, he had other girls on the side so he probably isn't moping over this like you.

As much as I want him to admit his faults and say he is sorry I think she is right. yes?

How did all of you begin to heal or move on? Also, how do you go on dating not thinking that all men are like this and will do the same thing to you? I don't want to not trust anyone or bring this baggage along with me.

I'm sorry that this happened to you. I think the best thing you can do is get to know yourself and work out what you want in a relationship. Then once you are complete as a person it is at this point you can start looking for a man. Take care and God bless,.

I agree with Karen (D78) take some time out for your self..sometimes when you are with somebody you give so much & get nothing back except hurt it becomes a vicious circle...she probably is right. Move on & give your self a chance to find somebody who respects & needs you .......& who will treat you well ..good luck

I agree with, Karen, to. I was told by my counselor to not date for AT LEAST six months after my divorce.

I agree with your gf, it's time to cut your losses and move on. This guy is not Mr. Right. You don't have to bring the baggage with you but do read up on the warning signs of an emotional abuser and look for those red flags.

Chalk it up to a learning experience (for you, not him) and move on...
