Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I was driving my man and my child to go shopping last night. My daughter made the comment that her real dad was going to give her and angel money he was sending them some money. haha! nope!
I told my daughter,
I just want you to start to be happy with just phone calls and letters. Your dad, is not going to send you any money, you or your brother. Don't expect it from him at all. When he tells you he is sending you money, tell him, "that would be nice" and leave it at that. I will be here to support you in any way I can possibly can, but don't expect anything from your dad.
She cried her heart out for about 20 mins. My heart was broken for her, but I would rather give her the truth in a short version and let her heal right now and not drag out the pain over years and years. I know he won't send her any money for anything, he will just say it and never do it. That is how it was when we were married.
I tried to go to court and get child support, it got approved, but nothing ever came of it. He never was held accountable, and becuase he is out of jail, I probably will never see any child support from him. I could go back to court and try agian, but that won't do any good either. So I am going to make it a point to make it with out his help. I raised my oldest with out child support, I can do it with these two also.
I work my butt off every day to give my children what they deserve, but It would be nice to have help somehow from there sperm donors.
The only one that helps me is my youngest, He takes her when he is not working, buys her school clothes, and does all the spoiling he can when he has her. I am proud of him and all his accomplishments.

It's been difficult watching them grow up without there dad, and see them hurting over and over about there dad. I want them to create healthy boundaries. Maybe I over stepped my boundaries, but I think that letting them know what they can and cannot depend on there dad for is ok.
I don't get child support either, and it sucks. But I do get my son's love, which means so much more. And I won't lie to him.
And honesty, even with kids, is always the best policy. Hugs to you for being such a good mom.
