Phobia Support Group
A phobia (from the Greek "fear"), is a strong, persistent fear of situations, objects, activities, or persons. The main symptom of this disorder is the excessive, unreasonable desire to avoid the feared subject. When the fear is beyond one's control, or if the fear is interfering with daily life, then a diagnosis under one of the anxiety disorders can be made.
My input may be the opposite of what you need but I leave it to you.
I am being entirely biased here. I fear being on a woman's bad side or mostly in direct situation where I am on their bad side. I fully believe they are evil based on their mindset and choices seem to lack humanity and sense in them, to my experience. I do not like them or having to do with them but I can't escape because I am a woman. Even if I am a tomboy.
I have come to realize I am scared of men. It was not sudden. It grew gradually and unexpectedly, because I have always and will always admire them. It ruined my relationship with my father and I have froze the friendships of the men in my life. I have never been so afraid as to lash out and I am really good at hiding my fear, but it is very much still there with the dread that comes with it.
I am working it out and on the look for a good group of people who experience this phobia. I want to challenge the fear and get burned in the process.
