Phobia Support Group
A phobia (from the Greek "fear"), is a strong, persistent fear of situations, objects, activities, or persons. The main symptom of this disorder is the excessive, unreasonable desire to avoid the feared subject. When the fear is beyond one's control, or if the fear is interfering with daily life, then a diagnosis under one of the anxiety disorders can be made.

my sister wants me to go to cali for a few days and i'm terrified of flying..i just don't know what to do

I can't fly either. I am terrified of being in that enclosed space. The last time I was on a plane was over 4 year ago and I had to take Xanax to do it. The Xanax really helped.

I hear that. I have alot of xanex when I have to fly. You need to logically think about your fear. I can help you identify your fears and maybe help you think more positively about it. Xanex is a good place to start.
